My reserve of summer sightseeing outfits from my holiday last month just keeps on giving! This time I went all-out with the brights with a coral cardigan, lilac midi skirt (previously seen here and here) and a bright cobalt bag. We went somewhere I've wanted to visit for years: St. Michael's Mount in Cornwall, a tidal island that you can only access on foot from the mainland at low tide by a man-made walkway (see the last image taken from the beach on the mainland). It has a medieval castle, gorgeous hillside gardens and a charming harbour (where we took the pictures), as well as a lovely café/restaurant that looks out over the sea. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever Cornwall-bound.
I adore several bright, saturated colours in one outfit at this time of year - the lilac and coral are summer-perfect together and the cobalt gives the warmer colours a lovely contrast. The blue aviators were a happy accident, mirroring the colour of the bag (see what I did there?), and I do like the fact that my hair adds yet another colour into the mix.
What summer colours are you mixing this year? Does your hair add another colour to your outfit (or do you match your accessories to it like I often do) - do share in the comments, my little lammies!
